How Hypnosis Works

Hypnosis uses a number of strategies and techniques that help you overcome your fears. Some of these techniques include replacing your existing fear with a feeling of supreme confidence, or replacing nervous energy that may have caused anxiety with a feeling of rejuvenation and excitement. Hypnosis allows you to change your mind setand experience events and situations differently than you had interpreted them before, for instance the feeling of dread before you get on stage with dry mouth can be replaced by a feeling of excitement filled with confidence. Hypnosis is extremely useful eliminating negative self talk and the pre-anxiety that causes stage fright, and allowing the subconscious to stay and a state of conscious focus.

During your interview your Hypnotherapist will determine the level of your fear, and uncover the cause that is causing this fear and release it, while introducing positive suggestions as a replacement. You will not longer focus on past performances or situations of anxiety, and enter each performance or speech with a sense of confidence and general positive excitement. Hypnosis will allow you to reach a sense of calmness and focus on your performance that will be almost like non thinking, non distractive state of focus.
