Dream Therapy is a highly effective way the Hypnotist can monitor and assist the client with change and positive growth.

Dream Therapy is the process of assisting the client to remember, describe, and translate nightly dreams.

 

Dream Therapy is a very important step in the healing process, as our dreams are absolute clues of what your subconscious is, hoping for, working on and venting out. Many people have gone to their local bookstore and looked at dream symbol dictionaries. These dream dictionaries list the meaning of ‘symbols' these symbols are then applied as a generic value that means the same thing to all people.

 

We at Valleywide believe the opposite. We assume that dreams are not “Static” but rather “Dynamic”, always changing and different for each person. With Dynamic dream symbols there can be no experts, because a means something different for each client. The therapist's job then is not to know automatically what the dream symbol means, but rather to know what questions to ask the dreamer so that the dream symbols can be translated into the language that is obvious to all.

 

A common experience is to dismiss as unimportant a dream that seems to have no logic or make any sense. What we should remember is that dreams are in a different language from what we are used to. To dismiss them as unimportant because it doesn't make sense to our left brain would be the same as to dismiss a statement as unimportant because it was written in Chinese. Like any foreign language we must first translate the language and then decide the relative importance of the message it contains.
